 |
A Shamanism Class for Beginners starts on Friday, November 12 at the elegant Beso del Sol Resort in charming Dunedin, FL. www.besodelsolresort.com
Training will take place both at the resort and at nearby Honeymoon Island. Honeymoon Island is an unspoiled, wildlife preserve and State Park. www.islandparks.org
On the Island you will learn about the harmonious nature of the island, and the exotic animals and plants who reside there, including Bald Eagles, Great Horned Owls, Osprey and much more. You will commune with Mother Nature as you learn the journeying skills of the Shaman. You will learn about the native plants and animals of the island, and retrieve information about your life and the balance of life through shamanic journeying.
In the Shamanism Training Program, you are guided through ever deepening states of consciousness by use of drum, rattle, chant, and movement. You are given a series of practical exercises to increase your awareness, your ability to focus and heal, and to build community. Our work centers around relationship to all beings, and responsibility for higher states of consciousness.
